Scope and Purpose
This training is made to comply with the STCW 2010 Part A chapter III/1 Marine engineering at the operational level and Part A chapter III/2 Marine engineering at the management level.
At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Identify the four major components of Refrigeration system.
- Understand PT Chart and its purpose.
- Understand the Pressure – Enthalpy Diagram.
- Adapt Montreal Protocol and EPA.
- Understand the proper way of charging and discharging of refrigerant.
- Understand the electrical control of refrigeration system.
- Modify the superheat of refrigeration system.

- The course is open to all Marine Engineers/ Electrical officers.
- Must have taken Marine Refrigeration eLearning as pre-requisite to this course.
