Scope and Purpose
The course is designed to provide comprehensive guidance to all Officers and Crew where each participant shall enhance their knowledge pertaining to MARPOL regulations and the company's Environmental Compliance Procedures
At the end of the course, learners will be able to:
- Understand the Environmental Compliance Procedures
- Learn the ECA, Fossil fuel, and Scrubber concerns
- Describe the BWMP & BWMS Focus
- Identify the company MARPOL ANNEX 1 focus area
- Know the Annex IV – Grey & Blackwater focus area
- Describe the company Annex V - Garbage Management Plan
- Understand the seal tagging & Portable Pump/Flex Hoses management procedures
